Hello! We have been married for almost 15 years & early on decided to become foster parents. Through foster care we had the privilege of loving on “our” kids & their extended families; being a part of their support system was a huge honor. In 2020, we were given the immense gift of adoption by a sweet mama & our daughter joined our family. We feel very strongly about supporting the birth family & nurturing the relationship long-term, in part because of Bob's personal history as a foster child & because we have seen the amazing joy & comfort that comes with having a continued closeness with our daughter's birth family. 

Bob is a Registered Nurse & Ellie is a SAHM managing both our daughter’s homeschool education & our homestead. In our free time, we love to go camping in our travel trailer as a family & explore the great outdoors. Haven Homestead, as we affectionately call our small acreage, is home to every imaginable small animal & is a sweet space for our family to learn, make memories, create & grow together. While there’s no lack of furry friends or community around here, our daughter has been asking for a “live with us” sibling & we started out on this journey towards adoption in hopes of fulfilling that dream for her & embracing those who might become extended family to us through the process.
